In Loving Memory On Friday, October 7, 2016 the world lost one of its great story-tellers. Kevin John Hanley left this world at the age of 62. Kevin was born in Milford, Utah to John Charles Hanley and Lou Jean Hanley. He was the fourth of five children. His paternal grandfather had come from the environs of Bantry Bay, Ireland to Park City, Utah. His maternal grandparents were from Victor, Idaho. Kevin was an All-State & All-American athlete who attended Milford High School and the University of Utah. After the University of Utah, Kevin set out in real estate, and eventually founded the Holladay Land Company. Kevin is survived by his wife of almost 41 years, Debra Lynn Haselman Hanley; his children Jack Garrett Hanley (Oi Hanley), Jacquelynn Kallene Hanley, and Patrick O'rion Hanley (Jessica Baker); as well as his siblings, Carol Hanley, Richard & Kathleen (Rick) Rose, and Brian (Sharolyn) Hanley; his aunts Rula Matkin, Isabelle Egan and Margaret Rodgers; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews,great- nieces, and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his older brother Michael Hanley, niece Margaret Hanley, nephew Michael John Hanley and his parents. Kevin was a charismatic man with a gigantic personality. Over the years, he enjoyed being in the outdoors with his family, admiring the starry night sky and beautiful sunsets over Antelope Island, participating in the Ute Conference Football League, skiing every season at Alta and yoga. He was a character and will be missed by many. A wake will be held for Kevin during the evening of October 15, 2016 at his home.
