Kevin James Dorsey Kevin James Dorsey was born December 20th, 1956 in Annapolis Maryland to his father Thomas J Dorsey and his mother Mary Lou McIlvaine. While growing up in Annapolis, like many children, he enjoyed all different sports. At 15 years old Kevin moved across the country to Torrance California where he attended and played four years of basketball at South High School. After graduation in 1975, Kevin continued his education at El Camino College before moving on to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he graduated in 1981 with a Bachelors of Science, in business administration. Kevin then began a 35 year rewarding career in aerospace with companies including Hughes, Honeywell and Eaton. At the time of his death, he was the director of operations at Zodiac aerospace.Kevin's success was often due to his hard work and people skills. Anyone that spent time with Kevin couldn't help but recognize his infectious laugh. It was extremely loud and contagious which often made him the life of the party. His ability to tell a story and his sense of humor would have his friends and family, especially his nephews, laughing hysterically. When Kevin found some time away from work, he enjoyed BBQing, golfing, watching any sports game, and most of all music. He attended many concerts, and never missed a chance to see his favorites, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, and Bruce Springsteen. Kevin was preceded in death by Thomas J Dorsey, Mary L Mcilvaine, and loving stepfather, Jerry McIlvaine. He is survived by his wife Anh, his stepson Andy, his twin sister Karen and her husband John Turner, his nephews Daniel, Stephen, and Kevin Turner, stepmother Darlene Dorsey and brothers Greg Rinehart and Jeff Dorsey.
