Kenneth M. "Ken" Tossey
Tossey Kenneth M. "Ken" Tossey, 78, lifelong resident of Scioto Township, recently of Dublin, died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Convalarium at Indian Run in Dublin. He was born July 13, 1938 in Delaware to the late Henry and Everett (McPeak) Tossey. Ken worked at Scott's for 42 years and climbed the ranks retiring as Corporate Manager. A member of Hiram Lodge F&AM, he was a 32nd degree Mason and served as Worshipful Master in the Ostrander Lodge and received his 50 year pin in 2015. He was one of the founders of the Ostrander Fourth of July parade. Ken enjoyed being outdoors, traveling especially in the Michigan Upper Peninsula, and spending time with family and friends. Ken was also an avid Buckeye fan. A loyal friend with a welcoming smile that will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sally Tossey; two sons, Mark (Cheryl) Tossey of Ostrander and Philip (Wendy) Tossey of Findlay; two step-children, Todd Saltus of Westerville and Holly (Matt) Cline of Worthington; seven grandchildren, Korey, Kollin, Justin, Megan, and Kendra Tossey, Patrick and Meara Cline; and one sister, Judy Tossey of Ostrander. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Chloe Tossey. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation of Ohio, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr. #265, Columbus, OH 43231. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME where a Masonic Service will begin at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Deborah Patterson officiating.
