Kenneth P. Miller
Kenneth P. Miller Sr., 97, of Orwigsburg, formerly of Hecla, passed away Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. Kenneth was born in Orwigsburg, Nov. 10, 1919, a son of the late Homer F. and Eva G. Heiser Miller. He was the widower of Miriam R. Miller Miller and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Orwigsburg. He served in the Navy as a Seaman 1st Class in World War II and worked as a pipefitter and plumber at Atlas Powder Co. Tamaqua. Kenneth was a loving man who admired his wife, Miriam, and truly loved her as well as his family. He was preceded by his son, Kenneth P. Miller Jr. He survived by his grandsons, Kenneth P. Miller III, fiance of Becky Wehr, Erik Miller, husband of Denise, and Alexander Miller; great-grandchildren, Brenna, Abigail and Marianna Miller,Victoria and TJ Wagner. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Orwigsburg, with the Rev. Lee Deifenderfer officiating. Friends are invited to call from 9 a.m. until time of service in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 156, 215 N. Warren St. Orwigsburg, PA 17961. Interment with military honors at Kimmels Cemetery, Orwigsburg.
