Kenneth "Leo" DeMoney Jackson Mr. Kenneth "Leo" DeMoney, 47, passed away October 15, 2016, at his home in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016. From 5-7 PM at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison with the memorial service at 11 AM Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at First Baptist of Madison. A celebration of Leo's life will take place at Hal & Mal's on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. Leo was born on February 22, 1969 in Greenville, MS, to Ernest Harold DeMoney & Shelia Hines. After graduating from Madison Ridgeland High School in 1987 he went on to receive a degree in Cosmetology. He worked as a stylist in the Jackson, MS area for many years. Most recently at Smoak Salon in Fondren. Leo was a treasure to all who were so fortunate to have crossed his path. He was a friend and a counselor to all who knew him. Leo was a charismatic man who loved life and lived it to its fullest. Leo most of all loved the people who traveled life's journey alongside him. We will sorely miss Leo. His smile, laugh and most of all his spirit that he gave us so much of. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Harold DeMoney. He is survived by his life partner, Greg Sullivan of Jackson, MS; his mother, Shelia Hines; and his stepfather, Billy Hines of Ridgeland, MS; 3 brothers, Stephen H. DeMoney and his wife, Amy of Havana, IL, Michael E. DeMoney of Sand Hill, MS & David DeMoney of Jackson, MS, as well as a host of loving family and friends.
