Dale, Kenneth H. In the early morning hours of October 10, 2016, Kenneth H. Dale died peacefully in his sleep at his Upland, Ca. home in the loving embrace of his wife Jacqueline. Ken was 83 years old. He is survived by his wife of 60 years; their four children, Kevin (Karen) Dale, Karen (Robert) Fricke, Greg Dale and Steve (Jodi) Dale; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and his younger brother, Glen (Pat) Dale. Ken was a disabled veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served two years in the U.S. Armed Forces. He retired early from Hughes Aircraft where he was a pioneer in computer programming. Following his retirement, he started several of his own successful businesses, which he ran with his children. A very family-oriented man, his children looked to him for guidance in raising their children and forming strong relationships. He traveled the world with his beloved wife for more than 30 years, and had many wonderful adventures. Ken and his wife, Jacqueline, resided for many years in Fullerton, CA. Ken earned his Bachelor of Arts from Southeast Missouri State University and his Master's degree from California State University, Northridge. The family has opted not to hold a memorial service at the wishes of Ken and Jacqueline. He will be cremated and his ashes displayed at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton, CA.
