DELAWARE — Kendra Sue Hoffman, 54, of Delaware, passed away early Sunday morning, Oct. 16, 2016, at the Kobacker House in Columbus surrounded by her loving family. She was born Dec. 18, 1961, in Zanesville, Ohio to Benjamin "Pop" Sites and Bonnie "Gram" (Compton) Sites. Kendra managed the gift shop at Oakland Nursery in Columbus for many years, exhibiting her exceptional creative abilities at the annual Fall Festival and Santa House. She enjoyed going to the beach, decorating for Christmas and time spent with her family at Seneca Lake. Grammy also loved all the time spent with her six grandkids. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Jason (Kacey) Hoffman of Athens, Ben (Emily) Hoffman of Marysville and Curry (Lindsay Merrin) Hoffman of Delaware; daughter, Kassie (Jon) McCann of Delaware; grandchildren, Madelyn, Caleb, Gabrielle, Layla and Gavyn Hoffman and Parker McCann; her mother, Bonnie Sites of Zanesville; brother, Ben (Theresa) Sites of Canton; sister, Keely (Eddie) Warden of Zanesville; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Kendra was preceded in death by her niece, Angela McKee. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, from 5-7 p.m. at the Snyder Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William St.), Delaware. Celebration of Life services will follow at 7 p.m. Contributions in Kendra's memory may be made to the Kobacker House or to the Patricia A. DiNunzio Ovarian Cancer Fund.
