In memory of
BLACKSBURG, S.C. - Brian Keith "Boot" Billings, 39, left this earthly life on Jan. 5, 2017. A native of Gaston County, he was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Ernest and Susan Elizabeth Beam Brown, grandparents Berlin Keith Pickelsimer, Horace Wilson Billings Sr. and Mary Frances Billings, a much- loved uncle Rufus Ricky Billings Sr., and also special grandparents Rev. Emory and wife Oma Beaver and Hub and wife Lois Burchfield. Keith was part of a special brotherhood of people, a lineman, his chosen field. Keith was a previous employee of Pike Electric and the Gaffney Board of Public Works. He loved hunting and fishing. He was also an avid Carolina Panther, South Carolina Gamecock, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. #88 fan. Keith was most times the life of the party with his wit and uncanny sense of humor, and we already miss him. A service to celebrate his life will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at Greene Funeral Service at 216 Archie Whitesides Road, Gastonia. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
