April 16, 1947 - Feb. 26, 2018 Woodland Kathleen Ann Waterstraat died Feb. 26, after a short and unexpected illness. In the last decade of her life, Kathy moved to California to be near family, where she sang in the choir at St. James Church in Davis and made many friends at the Californian in Woodland. Kathy was simply one of the happiest people you could ever meet. She was always very positive about life. She made friends easily and was deeply loyal. She loved the Purdue Boilermakers she was a faithful fan at the home games when she lived in Lafayette, and nothing could tear her away from the television when the games were on in California. She loved her family, her friends, her church and her teams. She will be deeply missed. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her sister Pamela.
