In memory of
Katharine Conklin Green Nov 5, 1938 - Sept 30, 2016 Katharine was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Paul and Laura Conklin. She passed away in her home in San Lorenzo with family after a prolonged illness. Katharine lived life to the fullest with an abundance of joy and passion to learn as much as possible of each person she crossed paths with in life. Her life was full of friends, family and self-discovery. She was a fighter of environmental and human rights causes, not shy to voice her opinion about political events. She had a love for song and singing and was active in the local women's Threshold Singing Choir, singing at the bedside for the ill and dying. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald, daughters Katharine (Debbie) Jones and Laura, grandchildren Ross and Katelynn and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, brother Paul, and son Stephen. A Memorial Service celebrating Katharine's life will be held on November 12, 10:30-1:30, Northbrae Community Church, 941 The Alameda, Berkeley. In lieu of flowers, any donation may be made to the East Bay Threshold Choir ( www.thresholdchoir.org/eastbay ).
