Karol (Baker) Caldwell, 71, went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 13, 2016. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Karol was born on January 25, 1945, to Bill and Ruth Baker of Oso, Wash. Karol was a loving wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister, mother-in-law, friend and courageous breast cancer survivor. Karol made many life-long friendships as a result of her Christian faith and her career as a hairdresser for 40+ years. She loved spending time with family and friends, gardening, cooking for the holidays and always worked hard to keep her home clean and in order. Karol leaves us all with wonderful memories and is survived by her twin brothers, Ron (Joyce) Baker, and Don Baker, brother, Jack Baker, twin sister, Karin Harrison; sons, Gary (Carol) Tallman, and Kevin (Wendy) Tallman, grand-children, Tyler, Brandon, Dane, Anna, Nate and Drew Tallman, along with numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, Gary Tallman and husband, Larry Caldwell. A memorial service will be held at Seven Lakes Baptist Church, 17007 E. Lake Goodwin Road Stanwood, WA 98292 (1 mile before Wenberg State Park at Lake Goodwin on left hand side road) on Saturday October 22, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in celebration of Karol's life. A luncheon will be provided by Karol's family following the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Karol's name to the American Diabetes Association.
