GREIWE Justin J. Greiwe, World War II Veteran, passed away on April 4, 2017 at the age of 96. Preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Anna (Ritter) Greiwe, siblings, Mary E. (Albert) Kramer, Alice (Raymond) Rau, Rev. Elmer Greiwe and niece Mary Jo (James) Brauner . Survived by his sister Maureen (Robert)Blomer, nephews Kenneth (Sue) Kramer, Barry (Mary) Rau, Ronald (Lee) Rau, and Thomas (Rebecca) Rau; nieces Kathleen (Paul) Hoeting and Cynthia (Robert) Apple. Justin served in WWII in the Army Air Corps from 1942-1945. He was stationed in England and served as an MP. In addition to his service with the Military Police Justin also served as the audio-visual specialist to the soldiers on the base. After the war his experience in the audio-visual field translated into a long and fulfilling career as the co-owner of Alpha Cine. Justin was the president of the company, selling audio-visual equipment throughout Ohio and Kentucky. Justin was known for his philanthropy throughout the years. In retirement Justin enjoyed sitting on his front porch greeting people in the neighborhood. Justin was a dear friend, and though many who knew him have passed, his good heart, humorous stories and laughter with friends, family and neighbors will live on. We will miss you Justin! A private family service will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery. A Memorial Mass for friends and relatives will be celebrated on April 21, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church in Price Hill, 3006 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45205.
