Justin Linn Aeschleman PEORIA - Justin Linn Aeschleman, formerly of Peoria, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, April 6, 2017. It was his 40th birthday. Justin was born on April 6, 1977, to Vickiren (Wagner) Aeschleman and Mark Aeschleman in Peoria, IL. He attended Woodruff High School in Peoria and played high school football with his brother, Brad. Justin had a daughter, Kayla Marie Clark Peterson, with Sheila Clark Peterson. Justin joined the U.S. Army to serve his country as a Calvary Scout from 1999-2002 and received the Top Gun award for his expert shooting. He was very proud of being a Calvary Scout. While serving in the U. S. Army, he married Lisa Marie McGean of New York. They were divorced in 2012. They had three daughters, Leigha Marie, Ava Victoria and Madison Solaris, who currently reside in Baldwinsville, New York. After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, Justin attended Illinois Central College, earning honors, and then moved to New York to attend Syracuse University, studying Systems and Network Engineering, graduating with high honors. He enjoyed spending time with his family, taking road trips to the Adirondack Mountains, traveling to Florida, taking his family to Disney World and many other outdoor activities, drive-in movies and even building his own custom computers. He had a keen interest in our celestial world and spent many nights stargazing with his telescope. He always enjoyed NASA's website and photography. He became an avid reader and was extremely knowledgeable on many subjects. On February 10 of this year, Justin married his soul mate, Gladys Jane Sherwood of Fort Leonard Wood, MO, where they resided at the time of his death. Justin was a loving husband and supportive stepfather to his stepchildren, Demarco Crum, Analeise Crum, Sara Crum, Courtney Crum and Darien Crum. Gladys and Justin had many plans, as she is scheduled to retire from the U.S. Army from her position as a Chief Paralegal Noncommissioned Officer, MSCoE and Fort Leonard Wood in December. Justin was planning on setting up a company, providing IT services. While serving in the Army, he had a severe head injury and had subsequently developed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
