June Minor Shippensburg June E. Minor, 92, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016, in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born June 28, 1924, in Letterkenny Township, Franklin County. June was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Nettie Glessner Kuhn. She was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church, Chambersburg. June retired from the Shippensburg University's Accounting Department in 1985. She was a past member of BPW and was a volunteer for Lutheran Home Care Hospice. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur S. "Tiny" Minor, who died November 18, 1990; four brothers, Frank Kuhn, Merle Kuhn, Russell Kuhn and Charles A. Kuhn, Jr.; and seven sisters, Ethel Kuhn, Edna Paxton, Esther Gutshall, Blanche Durff, Nancy Kuhn, Clara Hertzler, and an infant; and a special friend of 17 years, Casey Jones. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016, in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg, at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Rachel Keller Wong. Burial will be held in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
