June Lee (Blaisdell) Durm, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on April 14, 2017. She was born January 25, 1931 and grew up in Eastport, the youngest girl in a family of 10 siblings. She graduated from Annapolis High School in 1948 and continued to meet with her dear friends, "The Unforgettables" of Annapolis High for monthly lunches the last 20 years. She was also a member of the Red Hats Women's group and the St. Margaret's Homemaker's Club. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society after becoming a survivor of breast cancer. She also volunteered for the Anne Arundel County Historic Society. She was a member of St. Margaret's Church and served on the Altar Guild. She married Noel E. Durm in 1960 and worked side by side with him in his various business ventures. Her greatest pleasure was raising her family on the waters of Annapolis. Her interests included traveling, boating, and crafting. One of her favorite activities was singing with her friends and neighbors at social functions, particularly her weekly outings at Hamlin's in Severna Park. She is best remembered for her perpetual smile, generous heart, and loving soul. She is survived by her husband, Noel E. Durm, two daughters, Diane Clark and husband Rob, and Karen Owen and husband, Pat, and one son, William Parr. She had 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home Inc. 147 Duke of Gloucester Street Annapolis, Maryland 21401 on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Saint Margaret's Episcopal Church 1601 Pleasant Plains Road Annapolis, Maryland 21409 on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment will take place in the adjoining Church Cemetery.
