Julie Joan Malbrough Trosclair, 59, died Jan. 9, 2017, at 4:25 p.m. She was a native of Houma and a resident of Theriot, LA. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel and Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, from 9 a.m. until funeral time at St. Eloi Catholic Church; with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Eloi Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Cyrus Paul Trosclair Jr.; son, Aaron Trosclair and wife, Krystal; daughters, Sarah T. Richards and husband, Mikie, and Lindsey T. Hebert and husband, Jason; brother, Barry Malbrough; sister, Pat Rodrigue and husband, Russell; sisters-in-law, Ramona Malbrough, Wendy Soudelier and husband, Morris, and Lisa Showalter and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Hayden, Logan and Aundrea Trosclair, Dylan, Dustin, Devin and Mya Richards, and Gage and Noah Hebert. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira Anthony and Rita Whitney Malbrough; and brother, Jerry Malbrough. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. She was a devoted teacher at Honduras Elementary School. She participated in Southdown Plantation Market Place for over 20 years. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Trosclair Family.
