Judith "Judy" Carol Tomcisin NEWARK: A Funeral Mass for Judith "Judy" Carol Tomcisin, 59, of Newark, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 395 E. Main St. Newark, with Fr. Jonathan Wilson as celebrant. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016, where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m., at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark. Judy passed away Friday, October 14, 2016, at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. She was born November 19, 1956, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Stephen T. and Lois (McGahen) Sekula. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, John; children, Joshua and Hannah; grandchildren, Taih and Brantley; sisters, Kathy Davenport and Gail (Mathew) Condra; brother, Steve Sekula, and many nieces and nephews. Besides being a wonderful wife and mother she was also part owner with her husband John of Cedars Lawn and Garden, where she will be remembered for her kindness and helpfulness with people. Judy's other loves included Celtic music, watching birds, her flowers and mostly her family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Blessed Sacrament.
