Judith K. Tillman
SUN CITY, Ariz. — Judith K. Tillman, age 75, of Sun City, Ariz., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Hospice of the Valley 's Eckstein Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Richard Tillman for 56 years. Judy was born in Piqua, Ohio, on Dec. 6, 1941. She was the daughter of Clifford and Annie Killian. She was a kind a patient person who loved children and dedicated her career to caring for them. For the last five years, she worked with children at Children's Learning Adventure, where she had countless friends before she retired in 2015 due to her illness. Besides her husband, Rich, Judy leaves her five children, Lorrie Sharp, Mark Tillman, Mike Tillman, Lisa Baird and Mick Tillman. Judy also leaves behind her sister, Shirley Short; 12 beloved grandchildren, and her cherished great-granddaughter; as well as numerous sons and daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Judy was an incredible person and loved spending time with her family. She loved to travel and visited Montana each summer with her husband. She also enjoyed reading, and simply spending time with her friends and family. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024, at 12 p.m.. A celebration of life will immediately follow the service at the Fairway House at Grayhawk Golf Club, 8620 East Thompson Peak Parkway, Scottsdale, AZ 85255. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley Eckstein Center.
