Juanita Pearl Stevens Kretschmer February 22, 1924 - March 7, 2017 Bonita Juanita (Neitie) passed away after a lengthy fight due to a stroke. Born in National City, CA to James and Edith Stevens.She graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1942. Neitie worked for Convair and Rohr and then retired from the Bonita Pet Hospital. She was under the care of Silverado Hospice and Vintage Residential in Bonita where she received excellent care for the past four years.Neitie and her husband Richard (Dick) Kretschmer met while roller-skating in downtown San Diego in 1943 while Dick was in the army. They were married for 66 years before his passing in 2009.Survived by daughters, Barbara (Bobbie) Brown (Martin), Georgiana Birch (Greg), Grandson Todd Brown (Lynnette), granddaughter Melisa Duschane (Jeff), great-grandkids, Gabriel, Nathan, Carlylle. and Lauren. Also sister Evelyn.Preceded in death by sisters, Merle and Mary, brothers, James and George, and parents James and Edith Stevens.She loved all animals, including Dachshunds, especially her Doxie Lucy. She was also a wonderful seamstress, artist and crafter. Such Talent!Juanita was loved by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.No services will be held.
