FLETCHER — Joseph A. Granlund, 36, of Fletcher passed away on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016, in Troy, as a result of an auto accident. Born on Aug. 28, 1980, in Troy, Joe is survived by his parents, David E. and Ellen L. (Hawkins) Granlund of Fletcher, and a son Colton Lee Granlund of Piqua. He is also survived by two sisters, Julie (Brian) McClelland of Piqua, Angie Granlund of Troy; his maternal grandmother, Helen Hawkins of Hillsboro; a nephew, Jacob McClelland, a niece, Kelly McClelland, both of Piqua; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. His maternal grandfather, Lee Hawkins, and his paternal grandparents, Arvid and Henrietta Granlund, preceded him in death. Joe was a 1999 graduate of Miami East High School and a member of the Fletcher United Methodist Church. He was currently the owner of Joe's Handyman Services. Joe loved his family and he was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at 12 p.m. in the Fletcher United Methodist Church, 205 S. Walnut St., Fletcher, Ohio. The service will be officiated by the Rev. Bonita Ritchie of Tipp City United Methodist Church and the Rev. David Chivington of Sidney First United Methodist Church. There will be a gathering of friends and family prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. in the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Fletcher United Methodist Church.
