Joseph Fiorenza Beloved uncle, retired from GM and Rahway as crossing guard, 86 Joseph Fiorenza, 86, of Rahway, N.J., passed away peacefully at home on April 13, 2017. The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union, N.J., on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass is at St. Theresa Church in Kenilworth, N.J., at 10 a.m. Interment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. For directions or to send condolences, visit galantefh.com . Born in Newark, N.J., Joseph lived in Irvington, N.J., before he moved to Rahway in 1982. He was a quality control inspector for the Hyatt Roller Bearing Division of General Motors in Clark, N.J., retiring in 1987 after 25 years. After retiring, Joseph was a school crossing guard in Rahway for 17 years, retiring in January, 2017. He also served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. He was the beloved uncle of Virginia Golba, Alexander Golba, Gina Golba, Anthony Golba, Joan Fiorenza, Patricia Russo and Sam D'Urso.
