In memory of
Jonathan Jewell Snowden
Jonathan Jewell Snowden Our beautiful and beloved son, grandson, cousin, nephew, and friend, Jonathan Jewell Snowden, 21, passed from this earth February 11, 2017, to finally be at peace in the hands of our loving God. Jonathan attended Nixa High School and went on to pursue college. Jonathan wore his heart on his sleeve and had a very deep and wonderful soul. He never met a stranger. He made people of all ages smile, laugh and feel happy. Johnathan's intelligence was recognized by many and his passion for nature, kayaking, hiking, camping, and soccer played a tremendous role in his life. Jonathan was preceded in death by his Papa John, and his aunt Shauna Merrill, both of Springfield, MO. He is survived by his parents, Steve Snowden and Elaine Reed-Smith, Grandparents, Nettie Pollock (Granny), Ralph Jewell and Naomi Snowden, uncle, Jeff Snowden and wife, Christy, all of Springfield, aunt and uncle Candece and Kelly Swisher of Luther, OK, and many great aunts, uncles and cousins. We are devastated by the loss of our dear, sweet boy and the void that his absence leaves in this world. The celebration of Jonathan's life will be held at Unity of Springfield, 2214 E. Seminole, Springfield, MO, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to the Ochsner Medical Center, Attention: Med Surge Floor, 17000 Medical Center Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70816 to honor the compassion of the entire staff who went above and beyond.
