John O'Toole ITT retiree, also worked in real estate, past president of Montclair Rotary Club John O'Toole, 91, of Montclair, N.J., passed away on Oct. 8, 2016, at home, of complications from prostate cancer. A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held Saturday, Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair, 67 Church St. Gaita Memorial Home, Little Falls, N.J., was entrusted with arrangements, www.gaitamemorialhome.com . Born in Detroit, Mich., John was a graduate of Michigan University and earned an M.B.A. from New York University. He retired from ITT in Nutley, N.J., in 1986, and then worked as a realtor at Burgdoff Realtors in Montclair, N.J. After his retirement, John was involved in many community organizations. A past president of the Montclair Rotary, he was also a member of the Friends of Barnet, Northern N.J. Victorian Society, Montclair Operetta Club, and the Montclair Bird Club. An avid traveler, he enjoyed many trips with the Road Scholar organization and independent travels with his wife of 52 years, Adriana Ricci O'Toole, who survives him. He is also survived by his children, Michael, Andrew, and Tara; grandchildren, Sonia and William; brothers, Raymond and Michael, and sister, Winnie.
