John D. Heath
John was born on June 14, 1931 and passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. John was a resident of Sumter, South Carolina at the time of his passing. He retired from the US Air Force after 34 years of service as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Ninth Air Force. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was married to Annetta McIntosh Heath. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Neal Sweet officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve McIntosh, Robert Woodward, Billy McIntosh, Hewitt Grant, Leslie McIntosh, and Benny Ray McIntosh. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 P.M.
