John E. "Jack" Driscoll
Driscoll, John E. "Jack" John E. "Jack" Driscoll Jr. age 79 of Rye, NY passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Jack was born on June 13, 1937 in Willimantic, CT. Prior to moving to Rye, Jack was a resident of Pelham, NY for over thirty five years. He was a graduate of Lasalle Academy in Providence, RI and The College of the Holy Cross where he was a member of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corp program. After college Jack spent five years in the United States Air Force attaining the rank of Lieutenant. Jack's career began in advertising before transitioning to a long career in sports marketing working for companies such as the National Hockey League and Cardio Fitness. Jack ended his career working in out placement where he found great joy in working with individuals through their employment transition. Jack was a true "people person." He loved nothing more than getting to know others. He was an avid sports fan, and rooted for many years for his beloved New York Giants. Most importantly, Jack was a husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed for his kind and caring ways and his quick wit. Jack was a devoted husband for over forty two years to his wife Jacqueline "Jill" Driscoll who passed away in May 2008. He is survived by his loving children Christopher Driscoll and his wife Megan of Cohasset, MA and Courtney Crystal and her husband Robert of Bronxville, NY. Jack will be greatly missed by his granddaughters Ella and Lily Crystal and Erin Driscoll and his grandson Jackson Crystal who all knew him fondly as "Papa Jack." Friends are invited to attend the funeral at Noon on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the Parish of Christ the Redeemer in Pelham Manor, NY.
