John DeMeola Jr. Plant manager, former Jackson resident, great-grandfather John DeMeola Jr., 77, of Manchester, N.J., died Sunday, March 12, 2017, at home surrounded by loving family. Visitation is Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Rd., Manchester, N.J. Funeral Liturgy is Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Church, Lakehurst, N.J., with entombment to follow at St Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, N.J. Born in Newark, N.J., Mr. DeMeola resided in Jackson, N.J., for 34 years before moving to Manchester in 2000. He had a long career with HB Fuller in Edison, N.J., as a plant manager. He enjoyed playing poker in Atlantic City and Sunday dinners with the family, especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Ann, in 2004. Surviving are his son, John A. of Brick, N.J.; daughters, Michele Blair and Cheryl Krajewski of Hamilton, N.J.; brother, Jerry DeMeola of Ocala, Fla.; sisters, Rosalie Giunta and Debra Volpe of Toms River, N.J.; four grandchildren, Michael, Krystal, Marissa and Anthony, and three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Johnathan and Krystin.
