John Thomas Byrns, age 69 and a resident of Denham Springs passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at his home with his family. He was born July 31, 1947 in Jonesboro, AR. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was a retired supervisor for UPS with over twenty-five years of service. He was happily married to the love of his life Shelia Byrns for forty-six years. Mr. Byrns is survived by his wife, Shelia Byrns of Denham Springs, two sons, Michael Byrns of Denham Springs, and Kevin Byrns and fiancé Cori Cooper of Denham Springs, one daughter Kellie Alford and husband Scott Alford of Denham Springs, eight grandchildren, Mindy Middleton, James T. Middleton, Megan Averett, Stephen Byrns, Skylar Byrns, Peyton Alford, Grace Alford, and Haven Alford, seven great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Richard Byrns and wife Rosie of Bryant, AR, Scott Byrns and wife Loretta of Gonzales, LA, and Michael Byrns and wife Paula of Fayetteville, AR, sister in law Darlene Runfalo of Denham Springs, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, C.W. and Marion Byrns, and brother Chuck Byrns. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Visitation on Tuesday will resume at 10:00am. Bro. Teryl Hebert will conduct funeral service at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
