JOHN "ANDY" "OLD DUDE" ANDERSON CROWN POINT, IN John "Andy" "Old Dude" Anderson 69, of Crown Point, passed away, Saturday, October 15, 2016. He is survived by his son Josh (Rhonda) of Wheatfield and Josh's mother, Ginger Anderson of Schneider; grandchildren, Joshie "JT", Kaylee and Jaidyn; siblings: Don (Lynda) of Valparaiso, Steve (Debbie) of Crown Point and Barbara (Mike) Hardin of Demotte and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Misty and parents, Melvin "Bud" and Norma. John was a retired Lineman with Ameritech, Local IBEW, after 30 years and a USMC Vietnam Veteran. He loved Harley's and dirt track Stock Car racing, bowling and golfing, considering himself the luckiest golfer. After his retirement, he spent his time building Babe'z Place in Schneider. He was known and will be remembered as a Big Hearted man who always put others first. Visitation, Wednesday, October 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Funeral Services, Thursday at 11:00 a.m., all at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 604 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell. Burial will follow in Lake Prairie Cemetery, Lowell.
