Johanna Korzeniecky Gandini • Burlington Johanna (Jaye) Korzeniecky Gandini passed away late Saturday January 7th, 2017 in Burlington, VT. Born on December 28th, 1931, in New Britain, CT, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Korzeniecky and Helen (Kryzensky) Korzeniecky, the middle child of nine siblings. She married Donald Francis Gandini June 5th, 1954. They resided in Connecticut before moving to Vermont in 1997. She loved snow, skiing and skating, and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing golf and traveling to visit friends and going to her grandchildren's sporting events and performances. Special memories include when she played goalie in a "father-son" hockey game, and getting to drive a Zamboni. She volunteered at Red Cross blood drives and was a member of the Vernon Connecticut Junior Women's Club and the Essex Junction Lion's Club, where she chaired the Peace Poster program. Survivors include husband Donald Gandini of Jericho, son Donald Jr. of Cape Cod, son James and his wife Cheryl of Jericho, grandchildren Jasmine Breault, Victoria Hastillo, Jesssica Gandini, and Kristin Gandini, and great-grandchildren Olivia Breault, Savannah Breault, and Lucinda Hastillo. Jaye is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their children. Calling Hours will be held in Thursday January 12, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Ready Funeral Home Mountain View Chapel, 68 Pincecrest Drive, Essex Jct. VT. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday January 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 6 Green St Underhill Center, VT.
