JoAnne (Gray) McClure
JoAnne Gray McClure passed away on October 10, 2016 after a short struggle with cancer. She was born on July 16, 1938 to Adolph and Ora Gray in Randolph, Texas. She married Pat McClure in Waxahachie, Texas in 1970. JoAnne graduated from East Texas Teachers College in Commerce, Texas. She taught English at Hill Jr. College in Hillsboro, Texas. She also taught English in Richardson ISD for 35 years. She enjoyed music, playing the piano and singing. She liked to fish, do needlepoint and cross stitch. After retiring she was able to do some traveling. JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Pat Gray. She is survived by two nephews, Keith Gray and wife Sheila of Sherman, Texas and Kevin Gray of Oklahoma, four great nieces and nephews and three great-great nieces. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, in Randolph Cemetery with Dr. Ken Helvey officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.
