Jerry C. Boucher
Constable Jerry C. Boucher Corpus Christi, TX Constable Jerry Charles Boucher, born in Brownsville, in 1952 passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016. The family moved to Corpus Christi in 1962 and he attended Woodlawn Elementary until he moved with family to Flour Bluff, in 1968. He graduated from high school and joined the constable reserves. He acquired an associate degree from Oceanography and law enforcement. He served as deputy at Precinct 1 for some years and wanted to return to Flour Bluff and served as chief deputy there and served some time as Justice of the Peace but his heart was in the constable office and served until he won his election and was constable for several terms. He was looking forward to his retirement in January. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bonny Sue Boucher Young, and his father Charles M. Boucher and step-father, Eugene Stobbs. He leaves behind the people who loved him most. His wife, Bonnie Lee, and his mother, Janie Stobbs, two brothers, Mike David and Don Lee, his step-mother, Gayla and step-brother, Robert Kunicki. He was close to his only aunt, Sue Smart, of Friendswood, Texas, three uncles, Buster, Butch and Joey, of Crystal Beach; many cousins, nieces and nephews. His Memorial Service will be held at Seaside Funeral Chapel on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. There will be a lunch reception after the services to visit and honor Jerry.
