In memory of
Jeanne Edith Wold
JEANNE EDITH WOLD 9/29/1942 - 10/11/2016 Jeanne Wold, a very special wife and mother, died at age 74 at home in Sun City, California with her husband Bruce and daughter Tracie at her side. Jeanne was the daughter of Edwin and Edith Blomgren of Brooklyn, NY. The Blomgren family moved into central Long Island where Jeanne finished high school, got married and began raising her family. She is survived by husband Bruce, two children Doug Biancur and Tracie Wilson and four grandchildren Stephanie, Mitchell, Rachel, Jake and Google the Shih Tzu. Jeanne lived in many states across the U.S. finally settling into Orange County. She lived and worked primarily in the Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley area of OC. Her career in real estate included sales and the ownership of a mortgage brokerage firm in Huntington Beach. She ended her career as a commercial banker with a large US bank. While living in Fountain Valley, Jeanne met Bruce Wold. His courtship of her lasted 18-months culminating in a wedding at the Santa Rosa Chapel in Cambria, Ca on October 13, 2003. Both loved to travel and they often spent weekends driving up the California coast or taking longer trips across country. Jeanne was a loving affectionate wife who wanted to make a home for her husband. She also enjoyed diversions like a monthly poker game with friends or a less friendly game of Blackjack in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, most of Jeanne's senior years were spent fighting one illness after another. In the end it was complications from pneumonia that finally took her from us. Everyone who met Jeanne liked her; those of us who loved her were deeply loved in return and will miss the warmth and comforting she offered to each of us. We will celebrate her life at the Evans-Brown Chapel in Sun City, CA on October 22, 2016. Visitation will be from 1:00PM - 5:00PM with a service in the Chapel beginning at 2:00PM. Jeanne will have a private burial Monday, October 24th at Riverside National Cemetery. EVANS BROWN MORTUARY (951) 679-1114 www.evans-brownmortuary.com/obituaries
