LORAIN – Jeanne Graber, age 89, of Lorain passed away Friday, October 7, 2016 at St. John Westshore Medical Center in Westlake. She was born on January 17, 1927 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada to Joseph and Jenny Pomber and graduated from Ferndale High School in Ferndale, Michigan. Jeanne attended Watch Tower Bible College of Gilead in Upper New York State. She served as a missionary in Ecuador and also served in Chile, South America under the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society for Jehovah's Witnesses from 1949 until 1964 along side with her husband. She attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Lorain and she loved teaching the Bible. Jeanne is survived by her siblings Mildred Gnegy and Philip Pomber; and her niece, Sandra Gnegy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewaine Fulton Graber, in 2011; her son, Jeffrey David Graber, in 1992; and her parents. The family invites friends to a memorial service on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2430 Crehore Street, Lorain. Inurnment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst.
