JEANETTE WRIGHT Apr. 13, 2017 Jeanette Wright, 84, of Monroe Township, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the Gardens at Tunkhannock. Born in Noxen, she was the daughter of the late Voyle Leroy and Clara Lovina Traver. A graduate of Beaumont High School, class of 1950, she attended Bloomsburg State earning a B.A. in Education. She furthered her education by attending the University of West Florida. Her teaching career spanned four states and 35 years. Jeanette resided in Florida for 50 years and taught at the Mary Esther Elementary School. She was a member of the Mary Esther United Methodist Church and began the 'Terrific Tuesdays' after school program at her church. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Arnold Wright, in 2016 and sister, Dorothy Patton. Surviving are her sons: Arnold II, Pat and wife, Ann, Larry and wife, Andrea, all of Monroe Township, and Voyle 'Dale' and wife, Beth, Hanahan, S.C.; daughters: Susan Parker and husband, Don, Mary Esther, Fla., and Beverly Parker, and husband Mike, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; brother Seldon Traver and wife, Beverly, Greencastle; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 11 a.m. at the Bowman's Creek Free Methodist Church, 6470 state Rout 309, Monroe Township, with Rev. Lynn Mokwa officiating. Interment will follow at the Orcutt Grove Cemetery, Noxen. Friends and family may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements have been made through the Nulton-Kopcza Funeral Home, state Route 309, (Beaumont), Monroe Township.
