ABADY, Jason Aaron, 51, a native of Richmond, died at his home in Ashland on Saturday, October 15, 2016, as the result of a massive heart attack. He was the beloved son of Paula C. Powdermaker and Herman Abady. He was the beloved brother of Carol G. Abady and Jonathan S. Abady. Jason grew up in Richmond and graduated from the Open High School. He attended Oberlin College in Ohio and received a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in history from Brown University. He then lived in New York for several years before returning to Richmond, where he worked in real estate for the national firm, Keller Williams. Jason had a passion for classical and contemporary music; he was an accomplished violinist and as a member of the Brown University Orchestra he played at Carnegie Hall. In addition to a love of music and work in real estate, Jason was the author of "Battle at the Overland Trail," a historical recounting of a critical battle... Published by Joseph W.
