SIDNEY — Janice Irene Doak, 80, of Sidney, passed away at 6:25 P.M. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at The Pavilion. She was born on Nov. 24, 1936, in Celina, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl and Betty (Hammond) Leady. In 1985, she married Delbert Doak, whom survives in Sidney. Janice is survived by four children, Bruce (Brenda) Watkins II, Jayne (Michael) Olivieri and Karen Satterwhite, all of Sidney, and Tim Doak, of Tipp City; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one sister, Rose Carter, of Jessup, Georgia; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Kim Watkins-Pinkerton and Lynne Watkins- Motsinger. Mrs. Doak was a homemaker having many various interests. She enjoyed crafts and attending craft shows, knitting and working as a seamstress. She also worked for some time at Amos Press and was a member of New Hope Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. Most of all Janice loved her church family, kids and grandkids. She made many wonderful memories with them. A memorial service will be held at the church at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes - Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory, 302 S.
