James Zupancic
1930-2017 James Zupancic, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday January 12, 2017 at UHS-Saint Catherines. James was born on May 17, 1930 in Waukegan, Illinois, the son of the late Luddie and Louise (McFarland). He was educated in the Waukegan schools. He married Shirley (Brnot) January 9, 1960. He was a firefighter for over 35 years for Waukegan, Illinois when he retired as a Lieutenant. His hobbies included cheering for the Chicago sports teams, enjoyed reading cowboy books, going to casinos and spending time with family and friends especially with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Shirley; three children David (Kristie) of California, John of Zion, Illinois, Sandra (Wilbur) Borrero of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; sister Judith Musich of Beach Park, Illinois; five grandchildren Jacalyn, Richard, Adriana Zupancic Emily, and Samuel Kotrba.
