James K. Young 1938 - 2017 James Young, 79, of Kenosha passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017, at Hospitality Manor surrounded by his loving family. James was born on April 5, 1938, in Dexter, Ill., the son of the late Kenneth and Doris (Shepard) Young. He was educated in the schools of Altamont, Ill., graduating in 1956. He was a member of the IL National Guard. James married Joyce Block-Huff in 1962, after her passing, he married Joyce Friend Krogh on April 2, 1980, in Kenosha. James was a self-employed photographer for many years. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. His hobbies included watching TV, and spending time with his family & friends. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Young of Kenosha; children, Barb (Dan) Dickman of Trevor, Bradley (Mary Jo) Young of CA, Bernerd (Sylvia) Young of TX, Jeriann (Clark) Severson of CA; Jamie (Patricia) Young of Kenosha, Gordie (Jenn) Krogh of Kewaunee, Dave (Mary) Krogh of MN, Laura (Mike) Littel of Pleasant Prairie, a brother, Kenneth (Toni) Young and sister Sharon (Harvey) Evans of IL; 29 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. James was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharyl (Marvin) Davis, two great grandsons, Carson Isaiah Young and Tyler Davis, and his sister, Della Faye Neuman. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1700 89th St, Kenosha, WI 53143, from 9-11 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Private burial at Chapel Hill Gardens, Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
