James Michael Webb Naples, FL James M. Webb, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Andover, MA, died on April 8, 2017 at age 70 from complications of exposure to Agent Orange during his military service in Vietnam. He was predeceased by his parents, John C. Webb and Rita L. (Sullivan) Webb as well as by his sister, Patricia Godin, and his brother, John C. Jr. He is survived by his wife, Donna J. (Thurston) along with many relatives and close friends. Mr. Webb graduated from Andover High School in 1964 and attended Bentley College in Boston, MA. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of many fraternal organizations, including the Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Lawrence, MA Lodge of Elks. He was a former Trustee of the Andover Lodge of Elks. Mr. Webb was the president of Stateline Seafood, Epping, NH until his retirement in 1998. He moved to Marco Island in 2003 and to Naples, FL in 2015. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and boating. Their "adventure traveling" took them to many countries. Their "road trips" together included driving across Africa and Australia and two trips to Alaska and back. Their favorite place was on the island of Bora Bora, Tahiti. A private memorial, including a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Ft. Myer Chapel in Arlington, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, 2600 Virginia Ave., Suite 104, Washington, DC 20037.
