James "Pee Wee" Stout, Jr., 78, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at his home.
James was born in Monroe, Arkansas to James and Annie (Pitts) Stout. He was a retired bus driver and loved the kids on his bus and even knew their names. He was a member of Cole Ridge Baptist Church and loved his church and church family. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. James was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching football and basketball, the St. Louis Cardinals, and Chickasaws football and basketball. James never missed a local Chick game, home or away before he got sick. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John "Peanut Stout; and sister, Annie Margaret Hamilton.
James leaves his wife, Debra Crews Stout, of the home.; son, Clint Daniel Stout of Jonesboro; sister, Mary Ann Rutledge of Longview, Texas; and special brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Cathy Baker.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 20th at 11:00 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home.
