James "Jim" M. Kelly Evansville, Ind. James "Jim" M. Kelly, 80, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at his home. Jim was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 1, 1937 to the late William and Georgina (Boos) Kelly. He worked at Elston Richards Warehouse for 29 years, Sears (Northpark) and most recently at Walmart Eastside. Jim served in the United States Army and was a faithful member of Albright United Methodist Church. He was a Mason at Lodge 464, and a member of the Hadi Funsters where he enjoyed playing "Jimbo" the clown and singing the national anthem at every circus performance. Jim also volunteered his time playing the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause at the mall. He loved traveling and being around people, especially his grandchildren. Jim is survived by his sons, Randy Bogard (Sheila) of Evansville, IN, and Michael, Robert and David of Tallahassee, FL; sisters, Patricia, Kathleen, Sharon and Linda; brothers, Bob and George; grandchildren, Christy Alvey, Becky Nichols, Nikki Bogard; great grandchildren, Andrew Goins and Connor Sursa. Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Celeste (Wilson) Kelly; daughter and son-in-law, Debra Keown (Curtis); his parents; and brothers, Thomas and William. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Kim Wells officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery where the Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military rites. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home with a Masonic service and Hadi Shriner and Funster walkthrough starting at 1:30 PM.
