James P. Flynn
James P. Flynn, 66, of Williamstown, passed away unexpectedly Monday afternoon in Williamstown. Born in Lykens, Aug. 27, 1950, he was a son of the late John Sr. and Alma Buggy Flynn. Jimmy was 1968 graduate of Williams Valley High School. He was also a veteran of the Air Force National Guard, serving from 1968-75. He retired from Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation. James was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown. He was also a member of the American Legion, VFW and Liberty Hose Company, all of Williamstown. He was a avid Notre Dame football fan. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends at Uncle Jim's. Surviving are two daughters, Angie and Tara; a granddaughter, Montana; brother, Jack Flynn, and sister, Marie Jobe (Donald), both of Williamstown; a niece, Mandi Jobe, two nephews, Jack and Ryan Flynn; many dear friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown. Interment with military honors will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory should be made to Williamstown American Legion, 123 W. Market St., Williamstown, PA 17098.
