James John Danielewicz, 80, of Stroudsburg, died Saturday afternoon in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He was the husband of Joyce (Srebro) Danielewicz, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Born Jan. 22, 1936, in Dickson City, he was the son of the late John and Isabelle (Liebuzewski) Danielewicz. When Jim first moved to Monroe County 53 years ago, he owned and operated Stroud Tire Services. For the past 33 years, he and his family have owned and operated Limousines For Less in Stroudsburg. He was a member of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church in Stroudburg, and the Holy Name Society in Dickson City. In addition to his wife, surviving are two daughters, Joy Danielewicz-Britton and husband, Todd, of Stroudsburg; and Darlene Wolfington, of Philadelphia; five grandchildren, Aiden Britton, Christopher Wolfington, Andrew Wolfington, James Wolfington and Amanda Wolfington; a sister, Marie Harchut, of San Antonio, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Janet and Edward Gable, Lisi Srebro; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 on Friday at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 818 Main St., Stroudsburg. The Rev. Carmen Perry will be celebrant.
