Jacqueline Mary Murray
CATONSVILLE - Jacqueline Mary Murray, of Centreville, MD, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2017, at her home in Catonsville, MD. She is predeceased by her parents, Tom and Mary Ruth Beskid; her brother, Stephen Beskid; and brother-in-law, James F. Frantz III. She is survived by her husband of 33 happy years, Thomas O. Murray of Catonsville; her two sisters, Sarah Elizabeth "Betty" Frantz and Kathy Beskid Judy; her brother, John C. Beskid, all of Centreville, MD; and numerous extended family and relatives. Jackie was born in Butler, PA, on Oct. 23, 1947. She was a 1965 graduate of Centreville High School, and subsequently received her License of Practical Nursing (LPN) degree from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in 1967. She worked at Bon Secours Hospital until she retired. Then served in nursing homes as a case manager looking after the welfare of her patients and their families. Throughout her career, she took time away from her jobs to nurse and care for elderly family members. She will be most remembered for her steadfast love of family and friends. Jackie will be greatly missed by both her family and friends. Visitation at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home in Centreville, on Sunday, March 19 from 4-6 p.m. Funeral service at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Centreville, on Monday, March 20 at 11 a.m. Internment at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church Cemetery in Queenstown, after the funeral service, with a reception following in Corbaley Hall.
