FARRAR, Jacqueline Peck Jackie Farrar, a resident of Petaluma, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2017 at the age of 94. Jackie was born to Ruth and Ernest Peck on June 11, 1922, in Marysville, CA. She was their only child. She spent many of her growing up years in Berkeley, CA. She graduated from Berkeley High School and later UC Berkeley, where she majored in music. She loved music all her life, especially classical. On November 21, 1945, she married Woodrow W. Farrar. Jackie and Woody moved to Escondido, CA, where he ran an agricultural chemical business and she was busy as a homemaker and raising their two boys, Scott and Brian. She was an avid bridge player, and she enjoyed boating and water skiing with her family. Jackie moved to Petaluma in 2007, to be closer to her son, Scott. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Ernest Peck; her husband, Woody, and son, Brian. She is survived by her son, Scott (Mary) Farrar, granddaughters, Katherine Farrar (Richard) Bluff of Petaluma, Maggie Farrar (Clayton) Kenney of Denver, CO. and two great grandchildren, Raiden and Lander Bluff. A private interment will take place at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido, CA.
