In memory of
Jacklyn (Porter) Antweiler
Jackie Antweiler, wife of her cherished husband, Gary, for 46 years, completed her earthly baptismal journey on Oct. 11, 2016. She died peacefully after a brief illness. Jackie spent the last 11 years of her life living on Blue Creek in a home she and Gary designed. Jackie is survived by Gary Antweiler, her husband whom she married at the First Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas, on April 10, 1971. She is also survived by her three brothers, Richard, Robert and Gary Porter, all of Texas; a sister Jeudi; and her aunt, Zairah, of Evergreen. She was the only girl in her family and the youngest of four. Jackie was beloved by many nieces, nephews and godchildren and will be deeply missed. She was involved in the ministry and many activities of her church, Evergreen Lutheran. She quilted, hosted memorial and funeral meals, attended Java and Jesus, her sisterhood Bible study, worshipped regularly, and made many members of Evergreen Lutheran and visitors as well feel welcomed and loved. Her life was a gift to anyone who had the privilege to know her. Her death is a sad event for her family, friends and church. Jackie's life will be celebrated on Oct. 26, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Lutheran Church.
