Jack A. Levin
August 29, 1922 - October 10, 2016 Jack died peacefully while reading in his home at Regents Point in Irvine, CA. He is survived by his wife Juanita and sister Iris. Born in Philadelphia and moved to Los Angeles in 1926. Graduate of Fairfax High School class of '42. During WWII, he flew 64 combat missions in B17G Flying Fortress bombers and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. Jack was very active in the Big Brothers organization and served in many different capacities including President of the Jewish Big Brothers of LA and founder of Big Brothers of San Diego. His biggest honor was to have had 5 Little Brothers through the years. A loyal Dodgers fan, he has held season tickets since their move to LA. Services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park on Sunday October 16, 2016 at 12 noon.
