FAIRBORN — Jack L. Clary, age 54 of Fairborn, passed away suddenly Tuesday January 10, 2017. He was born April 19, 1962 in Xenia, the son of Clarence Clary and Nancy (Cantrill) Peters. Jack was employed with Miami Valley Publishing for 32 years and was currently employed with A-Abel Family Services. He served as a master counselor with DeMolay and was a member of the FOP Auxiliary in Springfield. Jack's hobbies included fishing and boating at Indian Lake, golfing, music; and he was an avid sports fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence; step-father, Thomas Peters; and an infant son, Michael. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Gina; his mother, Nancy Peters; two sons, Christopher (Johnna), Logan; step-daughter, Alyssa (Christopher) Carter; a sister, Jill (Steve) Patrick; nieces Kelly Patrick (Jason Calderon), Andrea Patrick (Kenan Brod); and great-nephews, Caiden and Dominic Calderon. A funeral service will be held on Friday January 13, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Sue Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
