Isla Rebecca (Becky) Ogletree
Aug. 21, 1955 - July 15, 2016 Rebecca Ogletree,60,of Jacksonville, FL passed away on July 15, 2016 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Fred William and Joy Yvonne (Moore) Ogletree both of Bham., AL. Formally of Bham., AL, Rebecca graduated from Phillips High School and attended Birmingham International School of Design. She worked with Maison Blanche in Baton Rouge and Tampa, where she excelled as Visual Merchandising Director overseeing stores in nine cities. Her work with Maison Blanche took Rebecca to Tampa in 1988. She later joined The Kane Group as a sales representative and also worked for The Walt Disney Company's art collectibles division as the southeast regional sales manager. Rebecca relocated to Jacksonville in 2014. Those who knew Rebecca best will remember her for her great design and business sense, razor sharp wit and her great compassion for others in need. Rebecca is survived by her brother, Jerry Ogletree of Bham; niece Amber (Robert) Melvin; great niece Meghan Melvin and great nephew Tyler Melvin all of Remlap, AL; also many cousins and friends. A gathering in memory of Rebecca will be held on Oct. 30, 2016 at 11 a.m at Elmwood Cemetery. Donations in Rebecca's name may be made to The Humane Society.
