ISABELLE JULIAN BRUCKMAN
(nee Cushnyr), passed gracefully and full of grace on October 8, 2016, surrounded by 4 of her children, 2 of her grandchildren, 3 of her great grandchildren and her loyal dog, Cindy. Isabelle was the devoted and loving wife of William M. Bruckman (deceased 1978). Mother of Ann M. Burns (Tom), Richard J. Bruckman (Janina), David W. Bruckman (Laurie), Thomas M. Bruckman, Carol J. Gairing, Patrick M. Bruckman, and Diane L. Rush (Michael); She is survived by 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews as well as by brother-in-law Raymond Bruckman and sister-in-law Shirley Cushnyr. Isabelle was the final survivor of her siblings and was preceded in death by parents John and Mary Cushnyr (nee Kobach), her siblings Earnest Cushnyr, Christine Bailey, Eleanor Rosa, Gerald Cushnyr, Clarence Cushnyr, Cornelius Cushnyr and John Cushnyr. Isabelle was a resident of Lyndhurst Ohio, attended mass almost daily for over 60 years, was an avid golfer and previous member of Ashtabula Country Club as well as Orchard Hills Golf Course. Isabelle was born in Ashtabula, Ohio in 1917. She was one of the early graduates of the Ohio College of Cosmetology and although she never worked in a commercial salon, was a favorite stylist of many friends and relatives. Isabelle and William enjoyed over 35 years of family and recreational activities and, after he passed, she became the active and involved matriarch of a large family. Isabelle will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She was an eternal optimist and inspirational source of unconditional love. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Gregory the Great Church Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish or the charity of your choice. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for the Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Saturday October 15 at St. Gregory the Great Church Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 1545 South Green Road, South Euclid, Ohio 44121.
